Dr. Chuck Lynch, Co-Founder and Senior Partner
Previously as the lead DoD technologist for IPv6, Chuck was influential in guiding the DoD towards the adoption if IPv6 and was directly involved in the development of all DoD plans and policies. Chuck defined and established the DoD IPv6 Transition Office, developed the office’s operational concept and directed the office for almost two years. He later served as the IPv6 Technical Director. In this capacity, Chuck interfaced with senior DoD officials from all departments and agencies, as well as national and world leaders in IPv6. He directly supported the Office of Management and Budget in helping them to understand the criticality of IPv6 and in the development of federal policy. Prior to co-founding SynExi, Chuck was the President of Lynch & Associates, LLC providing executive consulting on IPv6. Chuck has held a number leadership positions while active duty in the U.S. Air Force, in industry, as a civil servant, and as a private consultant. He served as an Air Force Officer working in space and missile systems and after separating from the service was a senior engineer for the Strategic Defense Initiative and the International Space Station. While at DISA, Chuck worked in advanced communication technology and served as a Branch Chief for Network Architecture, Division Chief for DISN Operational Engineering, and as Chief of the DoD IPv6 Transition Office. Chuck holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Information Technology Engineering from George Mason University.
Dale Geesey, Co-Founder and Senior Partner
Dale has worked closely with the DoD in their IPv6 transition activities and recently supported the development of the DoD's IPv6 Transition Plan and response to congressional inquiries regarding the DoD's transition to IPv6. He directly supported the DoD IPv6 Transition Office and the Army's IPv6 transition team in the development of their overall IPv6 transition strategy, program planning and technical solutions. Dale has been a participant of several DoD IPv6 technical working groups in the areas of Network Infrastructure, Information Assurance and Testing. Dale has been a speaker at numerous events and panels and has written several articles on topics relating to IPv6 transition. Prior to co-founding SynExi, Dale was the Vice President of Consulting for Innofone.com where he headed the company's IPv6 consulting practice and East coast operations. Dale has held positions of leadership for a variety of companies in the Government and Internet industry including Booz Allen & Hamilton, Verizon, SI International, Intrado and Teligent. Dale holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and a Masters of Business Administration from California Coast University.
